Getting close up on a night dive

Kalani, Kevster, Dana, Mary and I met up for a night dive or two at our favorite spot, Vet’s. Visibility was great and I was able to get close up to a lot of the underwater wildlife. I can’t wait to go back!

Out at the beach with a new toy

Well I was out at the beach with a new toy yesterday… a teleconverter takes a long lens and makes it even longer. wow, I was walking around with almost 1000mm equivalent, I was stoked! It was easier to handle then I thought and I got some keepers, although birds in flight were almost impossible because you can’t find the buggers in the viewfinder.

This little guy was just a couple blocks from my apartment. what a cute bird!

pink-necked pidgeons

Pink-necked pidgeons are some of the most beautiful birds I’ve ever seen. They look like very colorful doves. These were in the botanical gardens in Singapore.

Skeletons in the closet
